Hi, Rachael.
The information is on the way. The Tier I or Tier II (most critical to
lesser acute, respectively) are called by the Mobile Intensive Care Nurse
taking the radio call & based on the paramedics' assessment on scene. We
will determine the higher level if there is any question at all...to patient
advantage, always.
:) Sheila

Hello, Dan.
I've "snail-mailed" an article I wrote for our In-House Newsletter telling
what "Trauma Is..." with regard to paging activations and responses expected
for the Tier called along with a list of the criteria defining the two Tiers
as we (& the County) use them.

Looking for information on activation of trauma teams. Would like to review
the criteria and process others are using. Also need to identify the the
differentiation of class or level and the expected response for each level
of activation.
 Thank-you
