I will be in Las Vegas and am interested in participating as
much as possible with the STN so this might be a good start. I am
attempting to solidify an injury prevention institute here and would enjoy
networking with you, and others, on what can be accomplished nationally. I
am attending both the TOPIC workshop on Saturday and the STN conference on
Sunday, but would entertain a dinner meeting to talk about this
opportunity. Let me know what your thoughts
are.
Thanks >>> lbennink@communitymedical.org 01/24/03
02:37PM >>> I was recently elected to the STN board as a Director at
Large. One of my responsibilities is to form a special interest group
related to injury prevention. Since this will be a new group for STN
the sky is the limit in terms of what we want to do, and what direction we
want to go. There are already some exciting possiblities brewing on
this subject so I am anxious to get this up and running as quickly as
possible. I would like to hold our first meeting at the STN conference in Las
Vegas in March. Therefore, if anyone is interested in this topic and
planning on attending the conference please let me know what your
availability is. Also, if you are not attending the conference but are
interested in participating (or if you do not have the time to participate
but have some good ideas or thoughts on this subject) please feel free to
email me or call me. Thanks for your time and I look forward to working
with some of you-- Lynn Bennink, RN Trauma Program Manager UMC-Fresno,
