Hi Lynn
I will be attending the conference in LasVegas and am very interested in
participating in an injury prevention special interest group. Memorial
Hospital of South Bend, IN has been instrumental in promoting really dynamic
injury prevention initiatives in our community, comprised of multiple
healthcare and service providers . I would love to share some of our
successes. Please let me know if there's anything I could do to help with this
special interest group.

I was recently elected to the STN board as a Director at Large. One of my
responsibilities is to form a special interest group related to injury
prevention. Since this will be a new group for STN the sky is the limit in
terms of what we want to do, and what direction we want to go. There are
already some exciting possiblities brewing on this subject so I am anxious
to get this up and running as quickly as possible.
I would like to hold our first meeting at the STN conference in Las Vegas
in March. Therefore, if anyone is interested in this topic and planning on
attending the conference please let me know what your availability is.
Also, if you are not attending the conference but are interested in
participating (or if you do not have the time to participate but have some
good ideas or thoughts on this subject) please feel free to email me or
call me.
Thanks for your time and I look forward to working with some of you--
