Thread-topic: State Trauma Registry
We use TraumaBase and are very pleased with it's capabilities and flexibility.
Support isn't always as good as we would like, but the features of the data
base have made us reluctant to consider any changes. We are not downloading to
any other entity right now except for the State of Colorado. We download first
to the software vendor who reformats and then downloads to the State. We
percieve this to be a disadvantage as it is not oncommon for mistakes to be
made as the data is massaged by the vendor. Kathy Patterson is our Registry
supervisor. She can be reached at 303.436-6212 or kathleen.patterson@dhha.org
if you would like more detailed information.

I am performing a general survey to obtain an overall satisfaction rate of the
various trauma centers with their trauma registry software. What do you like
or dislike about the software i.e.. difficult to use, slow to respond, unable
to query information, etc. What programs are being used? Do you have to
download your information separately to a national database? Are you required
by your state to use a specified software. All information is appreciated.
Also if I could obtain names of people to contact to get additional information.

Thanks,

Theresa Radeker
