I am looking for advice from anyone who has had an ACS Verification Review Visit. I was wondering what you do, if anything, to prepare the nursing staff for their visit. Traditionally for JACHO visits, everyone reviews policies, emergency plans etc. I don't know if there are standard type questions the reviewers like to ask the staff that I could help prepare them. Any advise would be greatly appreciated as this is my first time going through this and we have a lot of new nurses in our ED who have never gone through a visit before either. Debbie Haliscak, RN
