We use EmSTAT as well in our ED. Trauma nurses document on a paper trauma flow
sheet. In the next year we are going to develop trauma nursing electronic
documentation through SCD which is a program that the nursing floor and STICU
uses here.

Cedars Sinai uses EmSTAT for routine charting. All trauma patients have
their care documetned on a paper flow chart developed jointly by senior
staff and our Trauma Program Manager, Heidi Hotz. Although the form is
ready for it's first revision, it is fairly comprehensive including body
map.
