I don't have Paul's email- could you get this to him?

Our paramedics are able to transfer patients to the telemetry unit. A RN
must accompany transfers to the critical care unit. Below is an exerpt from
the ED's policy and procedure for ED admissions to the hospital.

4. An ACLS certified registered nurse or paramedic must accompany all
patients that are admitted to the Telemetry Unit. An ACLS certified
registered nurse with must accompany all patients that are admitted to the
Critical Care Unit.

I hope this helps,

Can anyone help out with this question regarding the use of paramedics in
the ER setting? You can forward your answers directly to Paul. Thank you
