We are a pediatric hospital so our
policy does not go into specifics about the amount of blood to give to a child.
 But here it is anyway.

Hello everyone:

Does anyone have a Massive Transfusion Protocol (MTP) in their Emergency
Department for Pediatric patients? Besides the usual 10cc/kg for blood ?
We are trying to determine if we should write up our own or use one that
somebody else has.

Thanks for any help you can give me...
