In North Dakota we have a State Trauma System - but there has been no financial
support from the state to the trauma centers.

When the state trauma committee has a face to face meeting (most are telephone
conference calls) our hospitals cover our expenses to attend - even for the
voting members.

Our Level II Center's Trauma Coordinator and Trauma Director do the Level IV
and V trauma center designation visits and our hospitals have absorbed our
expenses for that too. This year the state did get a federal grant that is
helping with this expense.

I would appreciate responses to the following questions.

Does your state provide monetary support to Trauma in any way? (example:
special taxes)

If they do, what state are you from?

And In what way do they provide support?

Thank-you
