We are just now piloting a program with PDA's for EMS and us. The program is www.Meddatasolutions.com The program is web based and there is an EMS component / registry and billing and then there is the registry component. Reportedly, once we get the full program - I will have instant access to EMS information and can download it directly into the registry -without ever having to re-enter, track down, fight, pull teeth etc.. to get the information. This part of the interface is not available during the trial phase. They will modify the program to our needs - as far as screens, auto calculate times in ED, surgeon arrival etc.. and autofill blanks. You can also submit the data incomplete and go back daily to fill in the inpatient information as it changes. I am liking it alot. The ease of entry is wonderful. The PI screens they are going to change for our needs - and put them in a better order for my clinical brain (head to toe; EMS to discharge etc.) Lisa McLaughlin,
