Subject: [traumanurses] Re: FTE's
We are a Level II trauma center and see about 350-400 trauma patients per
yr. We have a General Surgeon who serves in the capacity of the Trauma
Medical Director (besides doing GS OR cases, GS clinic, etc.) Other than
that there is myself the Trauma Nurse Coordinator who is a .6FTE (24 hrs per
week). That's it. I do it all to include the registry. We just went to
our commitee that approves hires two weeks ago and they did approve a .5FTE
Trauma Registrar (which I have been fighting for, for over a year. It still
needs to be approved by the command but I should know in the next few weeks
(it was approved by the committee). Hope this helps.

Subject: [traumanurses] FTE's
Hi Everyone,
We have been asked to benchmark our FTE's with other Trauma Centers. If you
don't mind sharing, could you let me know what your FTE's are for your
Trauma Service and your yearly volume. I would really appreciate your help!
Thanks!
