A really nice search is through google and look up North Carolina trauma performance improvement. It will link you to a PDF file that has their state PI. It shows you by what area that they mandate what PI points. There are mandatories for EMS, for resuscitation, for OR, for ICU etc...

I am a new Trauma Program Manager trying to comprehend PI. I have a couple
of questions regarding PI
*       How many filters do you  monitor?
*       Do you monitor specific complications (DVT/PE) on a regular basis
with specific filters or just by occurrence rate and run reports from that?
