Hey Glen.  I'm really looking for something that adresses the care of the minor head injury.  Thanks for taking the time to respond.  Sally

New guidelines just released.

June 19, 2003 — The same group that created guidelines for treating adults with traumatic brain injury (TBI) have created the first guidelines for the treatment of pediatric TBI. In most areas, the panel found insufficient evidence to establish standards of care. But wherever possible, the panel provided guidelines and/or options for care providers to consider.

The "Guidelines for the Acute Medical Management of Severe Traumatic Brain Injury in Infants, Children, and Adolescents" were published on June 6 as special supplements to Pediatric Critical Care Medicine, Critical Care Medicine and the Journal of Trauma, ensuring a multidisciplinary audience of more than 30,000 specialty providers.

Hope this helps
