I have used data from WA state trauma registry (from DOH contacts), National
Trauma Data Bank (American College of Surgeons) for mortality rate. The
other issues I have not looked into, perhaps custom elements in collector to
start getting some baseline data. As far as EMS, would it be possible to
work with your county or region on this? We just have them call as soon as
they know they are coming, but the time is variable between urban, suburban
and rural.  Karen Kiesz

I need to know some benchmarking statistics. We are seeking Level II ACS
Trauma verification with a volume of approximately 800 trauma patients a
year. Can anyone with these same standards help me find a benchmark for the
issues below? Any information on where I can find these numbers would be
appreciated. Thank you in advance.

*       Mortality rate
* Turn around time from ED Trauma Panel order to result
* Turn around time from CT scan to result
* Lead time for EMS to notify ED of trauma patient
* Trauma Surgeon response time to the Operating Room
* Trauma Surgeon call back time & response time to ICU
