Thread-topic: [traumanurses] Social Work coverage - ask around
We have one full-time Social Worker for the Trauma Service and one part-time.
The ED also has a Social Worker from 11 AM - 11 PM 7 days a week. This was on
the weekends if patients are discharged and have needs the ED SW can handle
them.

Hope this helps,

Subject: [traumanurses] Physician Assistants on Trauma Service

Greetings,
I would like to contact physician assistants in the state of Texas who are
working with an acute care (in-hospital) trauma service. If you work with any,
and he/she/they are willing to do some networking, would you please send me
their contact information or have them call me or email me (info below)?

The purpose is to discuss scope of care and practice.
Many thanks,
Mac
