I am trying to gather some information on hours of productivity/changes to
hours of productivity with an addition of a trauma program to a facility. I
would like to know if there are any newer trauma programs out there that
needed to justify the additional FTEs to their administration for the
various areas affected by initiating their trauma programs. Specifically,
ED, ICU, O.R. for RNs, and other areas I am interested in are Respiratory,
Radiology, lab, and possibly transport. If anyone did any studies or
research in this area, I would love to discuss it with you.
Thanks for the help,
Melinda Hursh, RN
