We are an ACS verified Level II Center.
We have 24 hour a day pharmacy, however that was new in 2003. Prior
to that, the nursing supervisor had access to the pharmacy for whatever we did
not have in the Pyxis.

questions or to come in for emergency medication needs. We are ACS verified Level II.

Hi,
I had an interesting question posed to me today and
was wondering what rationales / issues (pro's / cons) that you could share
with me regarding the availablity of a 24-hour pharmacist.
ACS says nothing - our state regs say nothing. When
you respond can you share the facility level designation / verification that
you are.
