Thank you so much! We have just had a budget freeze and I am forking out all
my money to get to the March Conf's. in Vegas so Aug. sounds great
financially. Thank you once again. I will print this out and hold on to it.

OOPS! This was sitting in my drafts file. I forgot to mail it out! Sorry.

Hi.
Speaking of ATLS courses...are there any coming up within a two or three
state (or in-state - California)? I know of the one at Cedar's in
July/August...I'd like to hear more options as far as differing times
throughout the year. Thanks so much. P.S. I'm also looking for a TNCC
offering in order to fulfill my instructor candidacy before June :-)???

We are a Level III working on a Level II. In New Mexico we are in a
unique situation at the moment.
We have legislation requiring that our third party payers pay us 100% or
at least cost of trauma care. Well part of our criteria is that there
was "a documented team response" - so our third party payers won't pay
us if we don't document who and when they showed up.

Of course then I can QA this much easier because the times are right
there.

We are a Level II ACS verified center with in-house trauma surgeons.
The ACS reviewers asked to see our flow sheet (we have call and response
times
documented) and also wanted to see our PI around those surgeons who were
not present in the ED within 10 minutes (our in-house expectation).
Lucklily we had everything they asked for! -----Original Message-----
