Hi
Robinelle,
We
are a Level I Adult and Pediatrics Center. The Trauma Nurses report to the
manager of the unit they work on, i.e. ED, Trauma ICU, Burn Unit, etc. We
have a designated Trauma ICU, Burn Unit, and Med Surg Unit. Please feel
free to call me if you have other questions.

Hi!
We are looking at some process changes and need some input. I’m looking
for information from Level I/II Trauma Centers that are also teaching
facilities/Residency programs. Do your Trauma Nurses report to the
Trauma Service or to another department, i.e. ED or ICU? Do you have a
designated Trauma ICU, step down and or floor? Can I also have a contact
name and number for further questions? Thanks in
advance!
